>From what I can make out, *only* udev and systemd are making this a hard-and-fast thing so far. kmod has added a configure argument, and no one else has moved yet. In reality, fedora is patching a lot of packages to make them install in /usr. *If* GNU packages decide to move to /usr, *then* we can contemplate moving.
