There's a typo in the "scrypt" USE-FLAG. A bug-report seemed to big for
that.
Correct would be "scrypt: Use libscrypt for the scrypt
algorithm"

Found here:

# equery u tor
[ Legend : U - final flag setting for installation]
[ : I - package is installed with flag ]
[ Colors : set, unset ]
 * Found these USE flags for net-misc/tor-0.2.6.1_alpha:
 U I
 - - bufferevents : Use libevent's buffered IO implementation
(unstable, buggy)
 + - nat-pmp : Enable NAT Port Mapping Protocol
+ - scrypt : Use libscript for the scrypt algorithm
+ - seccomp : Enable seccomp for system call filtering
+ - stats : Enable tracking of how much of each kind of
resource we download
 - - test : Workaround to pull in packages needed to run
with FEATURES=test. Portage-2.1.2 handles this internally, so don't set
it in make.conf/package.use anymore
+ - tor-hardening : Compile tor with hardening on vanilla
compilers/linkers
 + - transparent-proxy : Enable transparent proxying
+ - upnp : Enable UPnP port mapping support
 - - web : Build a tor2web service instead of a tor client
