Hi all,

I'd like to ask for more testers for sys-kernel/genkernel-3.5.2.5, so
that it soon be stabilized for early CPU microcode loading with the
Meltdown/Spectre vulnerabilities. I'm thinking there will probably be a
3.5.2.6 with a further fix for bug #505810, but that only affects users
who generate kernel packages by genkernel. Maybe a workaround for
#616734 as well.

Blocking issues:
- bug #505810: --modulespackage/--minkernpackage are broken due to a
  regression from the --no-install patch.

Issues needing testing:
- bug #624176: failure of mount.zfs on non-ZFS systems
- bug #642988: dmraid not seeing lvm2?
- bug #439214: mdadm auto-detection
- bug #455266: don't use /dev/disk/by-uuid/ in fstab

Other known issues:
- bug #616734: usr/gen_init_cpio not built before needed sometimes

Other notices:
- ZFS support is being discontinued. Please move to another initramfs
program (bug #627320, TL;DR newer ZFS needed udev in initramfs; bug
  #636244).
