EAPI isn't a numeric value, it is a string (section 3.1.8) - it just happens that Gentoo official ones are logically numeric. PMS even quotes the EAPIs in "2.2 Defined EAPIs" section to signify that, it seems. So s/numeric value/name/ as per PMS section 5.2.2? Mart
