I'm looking information on how to get started with embedded gentoo. I found the embedded gentoo wiki, but I think I might need some more info. I use gentoo on my home desktop, but haven't done any real development on it. At work I use VxWorks and Integrity on an ep8260 and some custom made boards that use an MPC555. I'd like to get experience with embedded Linux so I can push my company to move away from the proprietarty systems.
I've recently used Timesys Linux as both a develpment machine (laptop) and a target os on the ep8260 and was impressed with the ease of development (boot a kernel, mount nfs and debug away. All interface is currently through serial IO, and realtime extensions would be nice, but for now, I would just like to set up an embedded development environment on my home PC.
Can anyone please point me to teh right documentation to get me started?
