Hi,
i'm trying to make a stand alone vlc player on the fb-device of an
embedded-gentoo box.
VLC does compile, but i have a question on how i should do it right.
VLC comes with lots of dependencies. Is it better to link it staticly or
dynamicly to gain space on the box?
VLC will be the only app running on the box, together with dropbear and boa.
And if static is the best way to go, how should i do this "the gentoo way",
with ebuilds? VLC hasn't got a static use flag.
