I should has elaborated on "fails". It is not an issue of no sound, my issue is that the audio device is either not there or unavailable when it comes to playing. It baffles me that alsamixer will work and alsaconf cannot find any sound devices when it does a probe. I did un-mute and turn up the volume by the way. :) -- Chad -- [email protected] mailing list
