I got the SYSROOT concept from [1]. It uses a wrapper script that sets
ROOT and some other stuff for using portage to cross-compile.
Thanks for clearing up the uclibc++ issue, I was dreading having to work
with that g++-uc on top of everything else.
Back to the brick wall. I think I almost have it worn down. :-)
