Hello everybody, my idea is to make gnap for my new ALIX router. According to gnap guides I wanted to add some apps as extensions. But these apps were not in standard (old) gnap-portage because gnap-portage in the current tree is old and very reduced. I decided if I can add some files or extensions I should update gnap in order to current portage snapshot. At first I tried to use for gnap update portage-2007.0.tar.bz2.
Gnap –t all –p portage-2007.0.tar.bz2 Nearly at the end I got error for compiling gcc-2.95.3-r9 like this: Configuration i386-gentoo-linux-uclibc not supported Configure in /var/tmp/portage/sys-devel/gcc-2.95.3-r9/work/build/gcc failed, exiting. !!! ERROR: sys-devel/gcc-2.95.3-r9 failed. I tried different portage (portage-20080217.tar.bz2) but I got other error like this: .... Calculating dependencies .. ...done! >>> emerge (1 of 1) sys-apps/portage-2.1.4.4 to / !!! No package digest file found: /usr/portage/sys-apps/portage/files/digest-portage-2.1.4.4 !!! Type "ebuild foo.ebuild digest" to generate it. !!! catalyst: run script failed. I did "ebuild /patho/to/portage-2.1.4.4.ebuild digest" but I got still the same error. Is it possible to update gnap with some current portage and how? Thanks ------------------------------ Petr Podrabsky
