Yeah, I was wrong, -t doesn't help. -d does help finding the alternative
package for the cases where a dependency is 
|| ( perl-5.10 alterntive_package )

You better stay with perl-5.8.8.

What is your problem at this point?
As you have ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=arm in your emerge --info,
app-portage/autounmask was masked by missing keyword too.
How did you solve this?
