Hi,
paxtest depends on both chpax & paxctl - they serve the same purpose.
Only chpax is used with older binutils (IMHO not in portage any more),
so chpax *is* deprecated (currently).
But 'paxctl' isn't-don't know is paxtest really depends on any of them.
Check the source or (ask the author ;), been here recently IIRC.
