Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone has any advice on an issue I ran into when I tried
to upgrade my kernel from 2.6.21-r1 to 2.6.22-r2.

Everything else seemed to work fine except apache 2.0.58. For some
reason it wouldnt start.

What I found in the error_log was

Syntax error on line 242 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_access.so into server:
/usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_access.so: failed to map segment from
shared object: Cannot allocate memory

Here is what shows up around line 242

# Authentication Modules
#
# These modules provide authentication and authorization for
# clients. They should not normally be disabled.
#
LoadModule access_module modules/mod_access.so
LoadModule auth_module modules/mod_auth.so
LoadModule auth_anon_module modules/mod_auth_anon.so
LoadModule auth_dbm_module modules/mod_auth_dbm.so
LoadModule auth_digest_module modules/mod_auth_digest.so

dmesg doesnt show any grsec logs past the exec of apache.

oh, kind of off topic, but does anyone have an example of logging
grsec with metalog?
