I started getting these messages after an upgrade from hardened-sources-2.6.20-r10 to 2.6.22.r8. Nothing changed from the old config. I just did "make oldconfig" and answered N to everything since they weren't relevant. In particular, nothing in PAX or GrSec menus were changed, though whenever I get big nasty messages like this I suspect one of them. Can anyone give me some direction as to how to fix this or what might be causing it? I can post the full configs if need be.

can you enable CONFIG_KALLSYMS and also decode the oops (or at least
send me your System.map corresponding to the failing kernel image)?

Attached are the config and System.map in the tar. It's rebooting now.

Brian

The first line is normal and happens during rc.local - just after a successful boot. 9 seconds later nagios sends it first queries out which die - still looking at which they were exactly. At the 5 minute mark, cacti polling happens which also dies. SEC killed both the processes as soon as it saw "Bad page state in X" so that I could actually read some this this time.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks,
Brian
