Zac Medico has graciously done a pre5 release of the 2.1 tree and placed
it in his dev space and on the mirrors. The ebuild is not currently in
the portage tree, but please feel free to test it prior to it's actual
release. The intent here is to hopefully catch any show stopping bug
prior to it's 'actual' release.
It is my estimation that a lot more users are running ~arch portage due
to cache issues as well as added features ( confcache, parallel-fetch,
etc ).
The ebuild is at [1].
The tarball should be on the distfiles shortly, but if not the ebuild
will fetch from Zac's devspace.
Your testing is appreciated.
