[gentoo-ppc-user] xfce battery monitor hasnt worked in a while

does anyone know why the battery monitor/icon for the xfce4 dock doesnt 
work anymore ?  i noticed it stopped working a while ago but didnt really 
missing it.  ( mostly leave it plugged in lately)
