Hi! I don't know if you will be interested Matthew, but the sci team has a group of herd testers (which I am part of). We are now trying to populate a sci overlay with packages that are in bugzilla to allow for more testing and development, make them available to users, and finally the addition to portage of these, or at least some of these packages.
I think you should enter #gentoo-science on Freenode and try to talk with cryos, if you want to become a herd tester. Hope you join us, Lucas Chiesa (tulku) On 1/23/06, George Shapovalov <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Matt. > > Nice to see that you follow through on our discussion in the bug! > > Just to give some background for the sci team, here is the relevant bug: > http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83877 > He has also submitted few more ebuilds AFAICS. > > I cannot mentor him atm, as I am already mentoring one developer, will likely > pick up another soon (upon my return) and will be away untill the end of > February..
