Guys,
I have released ATLAS 3.8.0. If you have a chance to download and try,
please do so. I plan to announce 3.8.0 on the announce list tomorrow
afternoon, so discovering that something is messed up before then would
be nice. I have installed 3.8.0 on a bunch of platforms, but you never
know . . .
I have posted an html version of the install guide at :
http://math-atlas.sourceforge.net/atlas_install/
I have also posted updated html versions of atlas_contrib and atlas_devel.
I have updated the errata, let me know if you see anything that still
needs to be updated and/or explained better.
The FAQ is only very partially updated. If you see particular things that
need updating in there, send me pointers. I will do a general update
when I find the time.
As a matter of fact, let me know if you see any any parts of the website that
still must be updated, since I may miss them.
I will be adding prebuilt binaries later, but probably not for a bit
(I'm tired, and behind on a lot of other stuff).
I would like to thank Kate Minola and William Stein for providing
access to architectures that I don't have for this release.
Regards,
Clint
