Ah! We certainly don't mind funtoo users but the fact should be disclosed early on. That would have avoided me some head-scratching. Funtoo seem to be very keen on keeping to the latest "and greatest" so it is unsurprising to me. Please keep us informed on the difficulties and success you have with s-o-g on Funtoo.
