BastianBalthazarBux is the surname for Francesco Riosa .
Actually the _stable_ ebuild on my site and the one attached to bug
83011 are very similar (identical?).

Don't know very much for others, I have still problem with 5.0
(runtime), don't ask to be less vague, it's simply not investigated
enough now.

They should be inside the tree very soon, 99% before than two weeks, it
will be not masked stable anyway for some time.

choose the better solution for you, patching require another bit of
overlay, build without mysql support only a command like:
# echo "net-libs/libwww -mysql" >> /etc/portage/package.use
