Hello, You could use smbldap-tools along with this tutorial : http://www.idealx.org/prj/samba/smbldap-howto.en.html It works very well with my gentoo box (a samba domain master in LDAP, all users -including pam users- are in OpenLDAP). The set of scripts from smbldap is very good for adding users in ldap without editing LDIF files, and it is included when you emerge openldap with the USE="samba"
