Just wondering if anyone is using lm_sensors on Compaq servers?
Im working on a server that is thousands of miles away so I dont know what
model it is nor do I know what sort of management chips (if any) it has.
Running lspci I see:
0000:00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 440BX/ZX/DX - 82443BX/ZX/DX
Host bridge (AGP disabled) (rev 03)
0000:00:0b.0 VGA compatible controller: Cirrus Logic GD 5446 (rev 45)
0000:00:0d.0 PCI bridge: Digital Equipment Corporation DECchip 21150 (rev

0000:00:0e.0 System peripheral: Compaq Computer Corporation Advanced
System Management Controller

0000:00:14.3 Bridge: Intel Corporation 82371AB/EB/MB PIIX4 ACPI (rev 02)
0000:01:07.0 Network controller: Compaq Computer Corporation Netelligent
Integrated 10/100 TX UTP (rev 10)
0000:01:09.0 SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c875
(rev 14)
0000:01:09.1 SCSI storage controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c875
(rev 14)
Running lshw I noticed this entry:
*-system UNCLAIMED
description: System peripheral
product: Advanced System Management Controller
vendor: Compaq Computer Corporation
physical id: e
bus info: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:0e.0
version: 00
width: 32 bits
clock: 33MHz
resources: ioport:1800-18ff iomemory:c6efef00-c6efefff irq:13
Is this a remote management card or something else?
The is running Gentoo (2.6.10 kernel).
