Hello,
Just emerged tomcat-5 and ran the init.d tomcat start
script.
I had some error with log4j, so I added a
configuration for that.
When I start the script now, the script never returns
(last line printed is 'Using JAVA_HOME:
/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2-02'), and it creates a lot of
socket connections that are in TIME_WAIT, and which
disappear shortly after I kill the start script.
I tried using strace to see what the problem was, but
it doesn't report any error.
I don't know exactly where to start debugging this
problem, and I'd appreciate any suggestion.
