hi all,
I've been attempting to bootstrap a company and I believe we're
reaching a point where it would be nice to put an HTTP load balancer
in front of two web servers. I have two identical machines running
Gentoo very well, one acting as the primary web server, and the other
sitting idle.
I priced out load balancer hardware and found it prohibitively
expensive. then I found PLB, Pure Load Balancer:

and imagine my delight when I found that there's an ebuild for it.
so I'm in the process of prepping a server to act as a load balancer
running PLB, and I wanted to know if anyone had had any experiences,
good or bad, running PLB on Gentoo.
if not, I'll be moving ahead in the next couple weeks and will share
my experiences with the group. :)
