2 things I've come across so far. The stable version of pam_krb5 is from a seemingly dead project, and depends explicitally against mit-krb5. The unstable pam_krb5-2.2.6 is from fedora and depends on virtual/krb5. Circular dependancies are a pain. OpenLDAP needs to be compiled without kerberos or sasl, then when heimdal and cyrus-sasl are done recompiled with kerberos and sasl. I did # USE="-sasl -kerberos" emerge blah blah blah then # emerge cyrus-sasl openldap (I haven't got to using it yet) -- Mike Williams -- [email protected] mailing list
