Hi I am trying to load up a new 430 Workstation with Gentoo and have gotten the
e1000 nic to load but I'm am having difficulties with the SCSI card. I tried
both the aacraid and megaraid drivers under:
/lib/modules/2.4.20-xfs_pre2/kernel/drivers/scsi
but they both fail with similiar errors as listed below:
/lib/modules/2.4.20-xfs_pre2/kernel/drivers/scsi/megaraid.o: init_module: No
such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20-xfs_pre2/kernel/drivers/scsi/megaraid.o:
