Hi, Haven't worked with Qmail logs before but here's what worked for me with sendmail. With sendmail, the connection (and the IP) was recorded in one line in the log along with the message id of the message. You could then search the log for that message id to get more info regarding the message. With our sendmail config, this was all in a single log file but it sounds like your setup has 2 seperate log files. Not sure if this will help or not.
