I'm having a heck of a time with KOffice, for no apparent reason.
Here's the end of the log I got from the following command:

# emerge koffice 2>&1 | tee emerge_koffice.log

>>> emerge (1 of 1) app-office/koffice-1.2.1-r1 to /
>>> md5 ;-) koffice-1.2.1.tar.bz2

<end>

I can't figure out what's gone wrong here; I tried "env-update && source
/etc/profile" before I emerged, I tried removing the
/usr/tmp/portage/app-office/koffice-1.2.1-r1 directory before I started,
and I've done an "emerge rsync" immediately before I tried to install.

Two things that swayed from the normal, but shouldn't cause a problem,
are:

(1) I downloaded the kdelib tarball from ftp.rutgers.edu rather than
letting emerge download it. This was because ibiblio was really really
slow. However, it passed the md4 check, so there shouldn't be any issue
with that.

(2) I don't have KDE installed.  But, since "emerge -p koffice" didn't
name KDE as a dependency (just kdelib), this shouldn't break the install
either.

Can anyone help me? I'm out of ideas...
