Does ne1 know if there has been ANY effort by anyone to fix this
problem? My research has found that it was discovered in '99 and
there's a manual patch, but no one has ever implemented that fix or any
other fix into the current kernel. Does ne1 know if this is fixed in
the 2.5.x->2.6 kernel?
