This is a 'me too' but I going to send it anyway...  The next thing I 
would test would be memory.  Either swap out all the ram for another set 
(if you have a spare computer lying around) OR just try to compile the 
software with one stick at a time.  If that didn't work I'd probably 
take out all the PCI cards there weren't necessary to boot the system.
