Just trying to think of ways to make it easier for the gentoo users out there that are moving over to gentoo, or deciding to and need that little bit of help. Couple of lines at the bottom of an email is much easier to find that headers in an email, especially for those that dont use mutt/pine with full headers displayed. I'll buzz the idea over to the admin list and see what they say as I realised that admin related stuff should really be on there. ttfn Jonathan On Monday 24 February 2003 1:41 pm, Terje Kvernes wrote: > Jonathan Gill <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > > Is there some way that the list can put details of how to > > unsubscribe at the bottom of the mails, similar to how most lists > > work? > > how about reading the headers starting with ^List? > > List-Post: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > List-Help: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > List-Subscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > List-Id: Gentoo Linux mail <gentoo-user.gentoo.org> - -- Jonathan Gill PGP : 315C 314D CD36 CBFF 728E F167 FCD8 15B7 0287 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+Whyv/Nj+exW3AocRAsEwAJ9QlkrKVC9tqVk0bmRXn4UhopHjqACfTW0Y G8KPx+3XuOyFrlykUiUm9WA= =iqMV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
