Yea,
  What you probably need to do is "source /etc/profile" .. gcc is not
installed like /usr/bin and you probably just need to reload the
environment.

Subject: [gentoo-user] no g++

Hello Gentoo-Users,

    I have completed the Stage 1 installation , but when I start Stage 2

the first package (python) fails to complete the Configure script
because of no g++ , gcc is installed...

any idea?

thank you in advance.
