I got these before with the 4.2.19 kernel, you had to manually apply the SIS
patches from www.winischhofer.net/.  You also had to select all the framebuffer
driver under console drivers.  
I just compiled the new(er) kernel (4.2.20) and i did not get the compile errors
(though i still enabled the framebuffer option).
