Never mind... While I'm able to do emerge -p with -Ss or -u as a
user(and I'm part of the wheel group) I take it it needed me to be root
to run it for that one switch(depclean). However the list it finally
returned had alot of things that I'm suprised aren't listed as
protected. One being xchat-1.8.11 which I just installed and things
like perl-tk which is needed by tkseti I think. I also do have
USB(webcam and printer). I think sdl-net is required by one of my
games(I have abuse-sdl installed amoungst others).
