Hello again list,

I'm trying to determine why I don't have access to a particular font on
my system. I'm trying to find a font called Roostheavy that I've used
before, though I can't say for certain it was on this current install of
Gentoo. Anyway, my /etc/X11/XF86Config has this section:

    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/freefont/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/sharefont/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/"
    FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/"

The Roostheavy font appears to be in the "freefont" directory. However,
It isn't an option in GIMP, OpenOffice, or anything else. In fact, none
of the fonts in that directory are? How can I go about getting my apps
to see these fonts?

Thanks,
