I had KDE 3.1 installed and upgraded it via emerge -u world. Since then, I can't use KDE 3.1 anymore. As soon as the splash Screen has finished, I get the error message "Could not start process Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Unknow protocol 'file'."
I have tried to re-emerge both kdebase and kdelibs, but that didn't help. Am I supposed to unmerge and re-emerge again? Did anyone experience this problem too, and if yes, how did you solve it?
