Write a script that does what has been suggested.

ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig newsetting
ifconfig up
cat dns > /etc/resolv.conf
route add default gw newaddress

i know i can do this but i want to change also dns and 
gateway with one operation only.
Any suggestion?
