Hello,
I recently compil a kernel gentoo-source (before It was running on a
kernel found at www.kernel.org) in order to have the acpi module.
Since that, I have no ide cdroms as scsi with the module ide-scsi
I didn't change any configuration, the modules ide-scsi and co are
present, and my lilo.conf is configured as wanted.
Apparently, the pb is coming from the kernel.

I can't succeed in launching xcdroast because it can't find my ide-scsi
