The purpose of using diffrent ones is I have them doing diffrent tasks. Opera works off of my multi media keyboard keys. Phoenix does my main browsing and links does what urls I get in chat. That tho is under the gui. Also why I use opera or phoenix in the gui is that as far as I know it will not use the plugins. I like web based java games and flash so therefore I need something that will support those formats. Well if you install links and type just "links -mode" it will give you a list of acceptable resolutions. Using svga lib in console then it will once you specify the resolution launch with a graphical interface. Usually the mode is say for me "links -mode 1024x768x32" Even links in non graphical modes(ie the -g switch for X or the --mode for svgalib) is nicer than lynx. I do like the older lynx but I perfer the features of this one. I think there is one other links varient "e-links" or something but I've not tried that one yet. -- Susie VE7 HFA [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://arienadean.tripod.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 'The Geek shall inherit the earth.' - Linus 5:5 -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
