I'm having problem getting my sound working. I get this message

According to this link http://lwn.net/Articles/8866/ the bug should have been fixed in
several patches (2.4.20-pre1-ac3 and 2.4.20-pre5-ac1) but I can't see anywhere if
those patches are applied to the gentoo-sources version 2.4.20-r2
Hope someone can give me some helpfull tips.
