What happens if you insert the card? Does cardmngr react? If so, what does it say? Also, did you emerge linux-wlan-ng? Did you compile PCMCIA & wireless support into the kernel, or not? >From what I've read, it is better to remove all PCMCIA & wireless stuff from the kernel, and use pcmcia-cs and linux-wlan-ng.
