You'll need cdrtools-dvd It's patched with mandrake's DVD-R patch I set it up many moons ago, for a friend. Man, I wish I had one of those (4.7Gb!)! J.
Cheers, i'll give it a go... I've always used dvdrecord, the gpl branch of cdrecord.
BTW, they are 4.36Gb :) The 4.7Gb is marketing, (ie. uses 1000 instead of 1024).
