I'm curious about two things with non-adobe acrobat creation tools.. modification of metainfo (summary info, locking the file from changes, etc) and compression. Do many/any of the non-adobe creators do these things and still open/work in adobe readers?
I believe the Adobe tools use some sort of LempZiv compression which is disliked in the free-software world due to patent/trademark issues.. -r From: "M.
