I have an ASUS A7V8X motherboard with an onboard Promise PDC20376 controller.
I've setup a mirrored array with the RAID BIOS setup tool... But the BIOS setup on this system does not mention RAID at all. There is a "RAID Controller" option mentioned in the motherboard user guide that just doesn't exist. The BIOS is dated 29th January 2003..... I tried installing redhat 7.2 with a supplied fasttrack promise driver but it doesn't work. Hopefully i'll get an answer from ASUS but i'm not holding my breath.
