Thanks for the clarification =) But the original problem still remains. Got any clues on why it says the following as while trying to start sendmail through /etc/init.d/sendmail # /etc/init.d/sendmail start * Could not get dependency info for "sendmail"! * Could not get dependency info for "sendmail"! * Starting sendmail... [ ok ] The only dependencies sendmail has (according to its depend()) is logger and net. As I have both metalog and my NICs started I have problem understanding the "warnings", and I _hate_ warnings!
