Does anyone have any experience with running Gentoo (or any other distro for that matter) on newer Compaq laptops?
I'm eying a replacement for my sucky Toshiba, and these seem to be the only reasonably priced laptops that will do greater than 1024x768. I haven't thoroughly researched though, so if anyone has suggestions, I'm open. I need something I can buy in the us. TIA -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
