When you configure your kernel for building, you'll find a networking option to enable that capability. Sorry, I don't remember the exact details off the top of my head - but the help screen for that option should include some pointers to documentation on how to use it. Be aware that both parties to such connections have to know about it - you can't point such a connection at an arbitrary host or router and expect it to know how to consolidate the packets.
