Hi, Thanks for your quick answer. However, I still haven't been able to solve this.

The oo fonts are stored in > /opt/OpenOffice.org1.0.3/share/fonts/ . > The fonts are all there, and readable. They all show up when I run spadmin as root and as a user, and if I (manage to) open up a document, the document renders correctly with all its fonts. It's just the UI font that seems to be the problem. > ps. The config files are in xml in the ~/.openoffice/1.0.3/?/? directory, so > you could edit them if needs be. Hm, I can't find any mention of fonts with creative grepping (looking for things like the word 'font', and various font names). Is there a particular file I need to be looking for? Here're the files I've got in my user directory: [EMAIL PROTECTED] user $ find . -name "*.xml" ./config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Office/Common.xml ./config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Office/Views.xml ./config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Office/Jobs.xml ./config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Office/Writer.xml ./config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Setup.xml ./config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Inet.xml ./config/soffice.cfg/toolboxlayout.xml ./config/soffice.cfg/META-INF/manifest.xml Is that everything you'd expect? Many thanks again, Dan Fairs -- Dan Fairs <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> spiderplant.net
