I followed the instructions on teh upgrade, and have gotten to the emerge -e world. I have run it 3 times, it takes 3 days then errors out on postgresql, stating that ant will not run. I tried to emerge ant, and it installs fine. I don't know how far it gets, and what has not been recompiled so far. I ran emerge -unmerge postgresql and removed it from teh world file but it still tries to run it and errors out there.
Problem #2 is that now kdm will not start. it worked fine before teh upgrade. it tries (I get teh littl icon in teh center of the screen) but then finally quits. startx works and I get an xsession, but can't get kde/kdm?
