Hello people,
I have run into another problem.. after recompiling my kernel today (which I
had to do actualy chrooted from the Live CD) and copying bzImage to /boot
... I got an error message immediately on rebooting that I have an INVALID
COMPRESSED KERNEL and everything was subsequently halted.
Where on earth is this coming from.. I have done nothing out of the ordinary
before recompiling apart from ..
make mrproper ...then
make menuconfig ... and put in all the nec . options
make dep
make clean
make bzImage modules modules_install
Is there something I am missing?
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
