Hello,

I found out, that the configure problem was caused by gcc. A few weeks ago I installed gcc-3.2.3-r1 but I didn't emerge -e world. Meanwhile I compiled lots of ebuild like Openoffice, Mozilla, etc with the new gcc without any problems(that's why I thought an emerge -e world wasn't necessary). Now I switched back to gcc-2.95.3 and reemerged umbrello without problems(I also tryd some other kde apps with the same result).
Will an emerge -e world solve this problem(Iguess it will, but I'm not sure...)? What can I do if emerge -e world fails at some point? Will my system still work in that case?

Tanks for any hints.

Michael

Hello,

I try to emerge umbrello wich uses the qt library(=>3.0.3). The version I have installed is 3.1.2-r3 but the configure script tells me that qt(libqt-mt) could not be found. But qt is there in /usr/qt/3. Also $QTDIR points on the correct path and /usr/qt/3 is also in /etc/ld.so.conf and I have run ldconfig.

Can anybody help me? Tanks in advance.

Michael
